Advocates Can Use IVIS to Manage Cases
Victim advocates now will find that not only notifying victims, but also managing their cases can be faster and easier. IVIS, the free system for S.C. that links victim service agencies while providing information and notification for victims of crime, today offers powerful new case management features.
Advocates will enjoy reduced paperwork and data entry as well as faster information retrieval through secure IVIS screens. The system can track victim referrals, direct services, incident data, and demographics. With the click of a button, advocates can generate service reports consistent with VOCA, VAWA, and other state and federal reporting guidelines.
Developed in cooperation with victim advocates, ASG sought support and input from victim service providers in all types of agencies. New features are designed to be easy to use, and ASG welcomes comments and suggestions.
